Dating back to the Ming and Qing dynasties, this traditionally handwoven Nantong Cloth is considered to be a piece of the infinite puzzle that is China’s cultural heritage, creating patterns composed predominantly of straight lines, squares and rectangles.
Each cloth follows traditional aesthetic principles of unity and variety, rhythm and cadence, proportion and division, and contrast and harmony.
Each garment will be 1-of-1, bestowing a different patchwork arrangement and formation to the next. No two garments will be the same.
